Headhunting

 

The direct approach is to contact an applicant by mail or by phone without that it has applied for a position. We distinguish in this regard several ways to do this :

 

* Internal databases developed by firms or companies over time.

* External databases, which companies and firms can access through a paid subscription.

There is often confusion between the "head hunting" which is one of the ways to make the direct approach and the direct approach itself.

 

Head hunting is a real methodology particular candidates approach for identifying "target" people closely matching the customers expectations. Few people know how to work with this method. Contrary to popular belief, hunting by business itself is not illegal. However, due to the aggressive image that it can give, most companies prefer to entrust a hunt for a firm to a more discreet approach. Obviously, the cost of a real hunt as compared to a conventional approach is higher. The time spent on this research as well.
